Central Armed Police Forces
The Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) refers to the uniform nomenclature of seven security forces in India under the authority of the Ministry
of Home Affairs.CAPF,They are the Assam Rifles (AR),Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF),Border Security Force (BSF),Central Industrial
Security Force (CISF),National Security Guard (NSG),Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP),and Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB).
- The exam comprises 2 papers. Paper 1 is a written test which will be based on multiple choice questions on general ability and
intelligence and paper 2 is descriptive nature.
- Paper 1 comprises 125 questions to be completed within 2 hours and Paper 2 shall be d
escriptive in nature to be completed within 3 hours’ time.
- All candidates who clear both the papers of UPSC CAPF will be eligible for
the second round which will be a physical ability test.
- followed by the third round,which will be personal interview round. The final
selection will be made on the basis of all the three rounds in UPSC CAPF.
